Minehead Holiday - September 2019
A convoy of cars headed to Minehead in September. Our first walk in the afternoon took us around old Minehead climbing up to the church which gave us good views over Bridgewater Bay.
Saturday took us to Porlock and we walked the picturesque villages of Bossington, Allerford and Selworthy. A few took the harder route up and over Selworthy Beacon.
Sunday dawned wet so original plans were changed and most members chose to ride the West Somerset Railway visiting villages along the way.
On the homeward journey we visited Coleridge Cottage at Nether Stowey,
A most enjoyable long weekend, well organised by Jane and Andrew.
